As a bespoke outfit with a dedicated focus on the U.K. Boarding School market, AIBC Thailand works closely with Thai families to help them find the ‘right match’. We take the time to understand and work with their needs and preferences or perhaps a specific set of requirements they may have. Whether it be for example, schools located close to London or a particular part of the U.K., schools with a high number of full boarders, schools that can accommodate entry in Year 8 or Year 11, schools experienced in helping international students improve their English language skills or perhaps schools running specialist academies (ie. Football, Golf, Tennis or Swimming), our extensive list of school partners ensures that a dedicated shortlist can be compiled which places the interests of the student first and foremost.
Also on offer are a wide range of services, ranging from Entrance Test Invigilation, U.K. Guardian Appointment, School Visits, Interview Preparation, U.K. Visa Processing for students and their families, Accommodation Bookings, Flight Reservations, Airport Transfers and Thai Guardianship.
AIBC Thailand has forged partnerships with 80+
independent boarding schools across the United Kingdom
Over the past several years, AIBC Thailand has forged partnerships with 80+ independent boarding schools across the United Kingdom, where international students have been coming to study for more than 100 years. In order to tailor for the growing range of needs and requirements, the number of partnerships is anticipated to double.
Before entering into a partnership, meticulous research is carried out to ensure each school satisfies a pre-determined set of criteria. Considerations include, but by no means are limited to, the school’s academic record and school leavers’ destinations, the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities on offer, the number of full boarders and international students enrolled, the quality of facilities, location and accessibility.
The school’s most recent OFSTED (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) or ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) Report, whereby a formal inspection is undertaken and the subsequent evaluation outcomes published, is also scrutinized to ensure the grades awarded are all of a high standard.
At AIBC Thailand, we appreciate that enrolling your son or daughter in a UK boarding school
is one of the biggest decisions you will make for their future.
The following questions and considerations are just the tip of the iceberg…
Which region should I choose?
Is a village, city or rural environment more advantageous?
Is it better to enroll at Prep School age or wait until Senior School age?
What type of curriculum will best match my daughter’s career aspirations?
What’s the difference between full, weekly and flexi boarding?
How much attention should I give to ranking tables?
I want my son to receive a well-rounded education and opportunities to develop both academically and through a wide range of co-curricular activities – do such schools exist?
We are committed to guiding families
through the decision making process and utilising our extensive experience to ensure that only the most suitable of matches are proposed. Each and every partner recommended, whether it be a boarding school, English language centre or holiday course provider, has been visited by an AIBC representative and ascertained to be of a quality and standard that meets our own high set of expectations.
